The 300 Miles Rally will be held on Friday 8th October in Colombres.
It is open to classic motorcycles from before 1988, and it is not necessary to be registered for the Colombres Rally to participate.
It is an endurance rally where its extreme hardness will push both the rider and the machine to the limit, so we only recommend it to the most experienced riders.
It is considered by many participants to be a challenging and costly route to complete, requiring not only physical and mechanical endurance, but also a sense of direction, as you will only have one road book to complete it.
More than 300 miles are covered in just one day, ascending from sea level to altitudes of around 2,000 metres, combining the coast, the mountains, and the plateau. We will ride through the best and most demanding high mountain passes of Picos de Europa, some with more than 18 miles of ascent and others shorter, with gradients of more than 20%, as well as enjoying the most beautiful beaches and fishing villages on the coast of Cantabria and Asturias.
The start will be by bib number with a time interval between participants. And during the race there will be several checkpoints to verify that the route is entirely completed.
It is not a competition but a test of endurance with the objective of finishing the route. It is necessary to pass through all the controls to consider it completed.
The organisers reserve the right to make any modifications if necessary.
*Assistance service will only be provided for motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of less than 250cc and/or prior to 1965; motorcycles with a higher or more modern cylinder capacity will have to use their own private insurance.
