If you have a pre-1988 motorcycle and you like to ride without looking at the time or the odometer, without traffic, without roundabouts and in a relaxed family atmosphere, this rally is for you.
Imagine travelling through villages and landscapes where time seems to have stood still decades ago, winding along old roads with unpolluted tarmac surrounding old coal and gold mines, entering natural parks declared Biosphere Reserves by Unesco and which make up the largest oak forest in Spain, as well as being one of the areas with the largest population of brown bears in Europe.
We ride not only through high mountain passes, but we also approach the beautiful coast of Asturias and its fishing villages, like Cudillero, Puerto de Vega, Castropol and Cadavedo. Villages with a special charm, some of them considered among the most beautiful in Spain.
The participants can choose to do the rally for 3 or 6 days, however, the organisation is always open to make modifications to adapt to each participant.
As is customary, and what MC Indianos is famous for, we have designed “hard” routes of around 125 miles per day, because we believe that this is the best way to know the beauty of this area in depth.
The Rally takes place in Cangas del Narcea from the 27th of September to the 3rd of October; the first route is a link between Colombres and Cangas del Narcea, after which the participants are distributed among the hotels.
On the one hand there is the amazing Parador Nacional de Corias, a 4**** hotel that meets the highest standards of comfort and quality awarded as the best non-urban hotel in Spain; on the other hand, La Casilla Hotel, a beautiful 2** hotel located in the middle of nature on the banks of Luiña river where you can taste an incredible and varied selection of traditional Asturian food.
After 6 days of routes, the riders will cover more than 870 miles along some of the most impressive and unknown roads in the north of Spain.
This route combines the natural habitat of the brown bear with visits to some of the most beautiful fishing villages in Spain, enjoying new routes while you connect with the culture of the area, tasting its renowned and varied gastronomy.
All this while staying in top quality hotels, what more could you ask for?
Come and join us! We are expecting you.
